Lake Avenue Restaurant and Bar is located on the first level of the historic Dewitt-Seitz Marketplace in Canal Park. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was originally a warehouse and manufacturing site built in 1909. Renovated in 1985, it now houses many unique shops and restaurants. All businesses in the building are locally owned and operated.
